“Astonishing…. So surprising and moving and true that I became completely unstrung.” – The New York Times

It’s quite rare to find someone who sees the same world you see.

Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis.

Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

In his long-awaited return, John Green, the acclaimed, award-winning author of Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars, shares Aza’s story with shattering, unflinching clarity in this brilliant novel of love, resilience, and the power of lifelong friendship.

my second book of John. Life goes on and the key here is if you have the conviction that your can tell your own life story

At first, I thought I was too old for this. Then it starts to grow on me. The story is a page turner with an overwhelmingly sad ending. YA or not, ‘love’ is a universal experience. John Green’s depiction on OCD was so spot on that I got a bit queasy reading it. PS. In today’s Fresh Air interview, he spilled the beans that he too suffered from OCD.

“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life - it goes on.” The binge listening to Dear Hank and John makes it so easy to identify snippets in the book referenced in the podcast... or the other way around?

Hats off to John Green.

Anybody can look at you. It's quite rare to find someone who sees the same world you see.

live with that infinite也许是探寻过终极的人最后能勉强秉持的生存原则。 better later than never.

an easy teen fiction. Told us a story about a mental illed 16 year old girl, who's stuck inside herself and finally accept the world. I like the simple but practical plot, Davis, how she handle the loss of beloved dad. U serve what you worship. Date & Ferris wheel John green. That's it, we grow, finally accept yourself and then u could be happy.
